About Us Arizona Hobbyists Paradise (AZHP) is an Arizona social networking community aimed at hobbyists. The purpose is to unite Arizona residents, businesses and organizations and to promote community growth and activity at events and gatherings. Our History June 2005 marked the beginning of "Hobbyists Forum" (HF); an ambitious project to fill the void of a lacking hobby Arizona community scene. After a large increase of online membership and activity, it was time to take a step forward. December 2005 was a rebirth of the community featuring a website, an upgraded forum system and public gatherings. Renamed "Hobbyists Paradise" (HP), meeting local people with similar interests was easier than ever. Members staffing, organizing and attending events such as conventions, culture festivals, hobby shop events, house parties and mini-gatherings helped provide activity in the local hobby scene. In just two years time, the small forum evolved to be the premier hobby community of Arizona.
